“Stamp Out Cancer” event a win for Burlington Minor Football Association

The Burlington Minor Football Association held their annual “Stamp Out Cancer” event Monday afternoon.

Today’s event at Nelson High School featured three games.

Before each kicked-off, players and their mothers and grandmothers took part in a balloon release ceremony for those who are fighting cancer.

The event featured raffles, food and even cheerleaders from The Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

All proceeds from “Stamp Out Cancer” event were donated to the Joseph Brant Hospital’s Cancer Foundation.
