St. Catharines man critically injured in ATV crash

A 20-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries after his ATV rolled over in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Emergency crews were called to an ATV crash on Stewart Rd. near Carlton St. around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Police say a St. Catharines man was riding an Artic Cat ATV when he lost control and the vehicle rolled. The man was rushed to a local hospital before being transferred to an out-of-town hospital in critical condition.

Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating the crash.
