Volunteers at Hamilton Health Sciences were busy today spreading some early Christmas cheer.

They’re handing out Christmas plants to patients who will be spending the holidays at one of four sites: The General, Juravinksi, McMaster and St. Peters.

Volunteers have been giving patients plants for the past 13 years to brighten their spirits during the holiday season.

800 plants are expected to be handed out this holiday season.
