Splashing pumpkins for the United Way

The Boys & Girls Club of Hamilton was splashing pumpkins today to raise money for the United Way. the entire swimming pool was filled with pumpkins.

The event aimed to put more fun into buying your pumpkin, while raising money for a good cause.

For $3, children and youth are able to throw a hula hoop into the pool. Whichever pumpkin they trap is their to take home for Halloween.

Glenn Harkness, executive director of Boys & Girls Club, says the event allows the organization to give back to the United Way.
