Speed blamed in fatal motorcycle crash

Hamilton Police are asking witnesses of yesterday’s motorcycle crash on Golf Club Rd to come forward.

It happened just before noon. Police say the victim – a 32 year old man – was found in a ditch, and that his motorcycle was found in the same ditch some distance away from the body.

The OPP says there have been 26 motorcycle fatalities so far this year — 7 of them in Hamilton.

Police say speed and control are factors and toxicology reports are being done.
