Jackson Square attack teens still on loose

Cellphone video of a fight between mall security guards at Jackson Square in Hamilton and a group of teenagers has been watched almost 200,000 times on YouTube.

Police say security officers from Intelli-guard were dealing with a group of youths who were belligerent and were asked to leave the property. Investigators say the men returned, riding BMX bikes through the mall.

Security asked them to leave again and that’s when the altercation began.

A statement along with the video claims the guards who started the brawl by shoving them for no reason, and later mouthing the words “i’m going to kill you.”

Police are using the video to help identify the three teens. They believe this was an isolated incident.
