Six Nations Police are investigating whether a shooting over the weekend and a suspicious fire Monday at Burger Barn are connected.

Emergency crews responded to reports of gunshots at the popular eatery on Fourth Line in Ohsweken around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers say no suspects were found when they arrived at the scene.

Just 48 hours later, first responders were called to the same business for reports of a fire.

No one was injured. Investigators say the fire has been deemed suspicious.

Flames blackened about half of the outside of the building and a portion of the roof caved in.

Anyone with information regarding either investigation is asked to contact Six Nations Police at 519-445-2811.
