Six Nations police arrest four, lay over 60 charges in drug trafficking investigation

Six Nations police have laid over 60 charges against four people after a drug trafficking investigation revealed fentanyl, cocaine, and firearms were being brought onto Six Nations Territory.

Officers arrested one man on February 13 and seized a loaded handgun, cocaine, fentanyl and bulk amounts of prescription drugs.

On February 14, police executed three more search warrants at a motel on Colborne Street East and a private residence on Cayuga Street in Brantford.

At the two locations, officers seized a loaded handgun, loaded shotgun, taser, ammunition, bulk fentanyl, cocaine, prescription drugs and currency. Some of the fentanyl had been pressed into teddy bear shapes.

Police have arrested and charged the following people:

  • Marcus Connell, 36, of Brantford
  • Madeline Froman, 32, of Brantford
  • Jerome Nolan, 39, of Toronto
  • Sylvester Nedd, 33, of Toronto

Connell, Nolan, and Nedd are all being held pending bail hearings. Froman was released and scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
