Sex Tape

Sex Tape is a comedy from director Jake Kasdan (Orange County, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story). The film stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel as a middle-aged husband and wife who have lost the spark in the bedroom. In an effort to rekindle some romance they decide to tape themselves attempting every sex position from The Joy of Sex. After their video is accidentally distributed to all of their family and friends via the cloud, they’ve got to track it down before it spreads beyond their reach. Sex Tape co-stars Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper and Rob Lowe.
According to Diaz, there’s more to the movie than just a lost sex tape. “The movie is about the challenges of marriage, and trying to keep it fresh. Losing the sex tape is something that might cost them, but instead it ends up strengthening the relationship – reminding them of the team they’ve always been.” Kasdan was happy to get his two leads and felt that they both have qualities that audiences can relate to. “There’s something about Cameron and Jason that makes this relatable – you can identify with them. They’re hugely accessible and charming – and they make marriage look pretty good.”
Sex Tape is rated 14A.
