Seven pigs found dead in Norfolk County ditch

The Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after seven pigs were found dead in a Norfolk County ditch near Houghton on Sunday.

At 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, officers in Norfolk County investigated an animal complaint after being called to a Houghton address.

Police say a black coloured potbellied pig along with six piglets were found dead in a ditch along a non-serviced gravel road.

OPP are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone in the area that may have video surveillance that captured any suspicious activity to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
