Halton police charge Toronto man, 40, with human trafficking

Halton police have arrested and charged a Toronto man in connection with a human trafficking investigation this month.

Officers say 40-year-old Steve Coelho is facing six separate charges, including trafficking in persons and advertising sexual services.

Investigators believe Coelho also went by the names of Nikolai or Nik.

The force says there may be additional victims.
