Serious 2-car collision in West Lincoln sends 2 to hospital
A Wednesday evening two-car collision in West Lincoln sent two men to hospital with serious injuries.
The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 6:20 p.m. on Regional Road 20 South and South Grimsby Road 18.
A 58-year-old man driving a grey Chevrolet Blazer southbound on South Grimsby Road 18 was at the stop sign at the intersection of Regional Road 20 when his car was struck by a man driving a silver Nissan.
The Nissan was heading west on Regional Road 20.
According to Niagara police both drivers were transported to an out-of-region hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Nissan is reported to have life threatening injuries.
The collision reconstruction unit with the Niagara police has taken over the investigation.
