Serious single vehicle crash in Burlington sends one person to hospital

Halton police are investigating after a single vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Burlington sent one man to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers say at around 12:40 p.m. a white minivan crashed in the area of North Service Road, east of Brant Street.

They say one person from inside the vehicle was transported to an out-of-region trauma hospital.

Investigators did not reveal any details regarding the person at this time.

Detectives say they are investigating the cause of the crash, due to the significance of the collision and injuries sustained.
