Serious Motorcycle Crash

OPP are investigating a serious motorcycle crash on Highway 6 tonight. Just before 5 pm, a lone cyclist collided with a single car, in heavy traffic, and was thrown from the bike.

Police say the man was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the car was not injured.

The crash closed down one of the southbound lanes of Hwy 6, just south of the airport cut-off from Upper James.

Police are still investigating, but do not believe speed was a factor in the crash.
