Seniors debt increasing

It’s not just young people racking up debt here in Canada.

A new study suggests that debt is becoming a problem for older Canadians too.

TD Bank says research shows debt accumulation is actually rising *faster* among people over 65 than for the population as a whole.

The bank is surprised by the the findings and says older citizens may have been lured by low interest rates into buying property.
