Canada Post sues federal gov’t

Canada post workers are taking the federal government to court.

They’re challenging the law which forced union members back to work in June.

The workers had been locked out by the crown corporation after a series of rotating strikes.

The Conservative government cited the impact on the fragile economy when they introduced the back to work bill.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers says the legislation runs contrary to the constitution.
