Senior charged with racing

A 62-year old woman from the Waterloo Region has been charged with racing a motor vehicle, after being clocked at 134 kilometres an hour in an 80 km/h zone.

The OPP say she was driving westbound in the town of Minto when she was caught on police radars. Kathryn Dineen’s drivers licence has been suspended and her vehicle has been seized for seven days. She’ll be in court in May.
