Sections of Highway 403, 401 and 402 closed after multiple accidents

OPP officers are warning of several closures on Highways 403, 401 and 402 after icy conditions led to multiple accidents Wednesday morning.

Commuters can expect some delays as crews work to clear all affected lanes.

Hwy. 403 at the split with Hwy. 401 near Woodstock is closed for a jackknifed transport truck.

In addition to the 403 closure, the westbound lanes of Hwy. 401 at the split of Hwy. 402 near London are also closed as officers attend to the scene of an eight-car collision

A police spokesperson said no injuries have been reported as a result of both incidents.

Officers say commuters should exercise caution, drive slow, and stay alert while driving on slippery roads.
