Second person dies days after single-vehicle crash in Halton Hills

Another person involved in a collision in Halton Hills Sept. 30 has died in hospital, say police.

On Tuesday at approximately 3:51 p.m., officers responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of Regional Road 25 and 17 Sideroad.

A van was travelling northbound on Regional Road 25 when it left the roadway and hit a tree.

Three passengers were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Oct. 1, one of the passengers involved died in hospital.

Authorities say a second passenger involved in the collision succumbed to their injuries on Oct. 4.

At this time, one other passenger remains in critical condition.
