Search for assault suspect

Hamilton Police are asking the public to help identify a suspect, after two assaults in the east end.
Police say the suspect assaulted a man in his 50’s inside the Prince Edward Tavern on Barton St. East on August 23. Moments later, he assaulted a sex worker on Barton St. East and Sherman Ave. North. He’s white, around 21 to 25 years old, with a dark beard and short hair. He’s around 5’8” to 5’10” and was wearing a baseball cap with a white front and black logo, a white v-neck t-shirt and ripped light blue jeans.
