Santa Claus comes to Burlington

Santa Claus took some time out of his busy schedule to take part in the 47th annual Burlington Christmas Parade on Sunday.

The streets were lined with hundreds of people as various floats made their way from the starting line near the Burlington Mall finishing at Brant and Caroline Streets.

Children excitedly dotted the crowd eagerly awaiting the man in red to make his appearance, some hoping to pass along some of the items on their wish lists.

Although there wasn’t any snow on the ground to greet the parade participants and provide a wintery ambiance it didn’t dampen anyone’s Christmas spirit.
