RV used to transport and distribute illegal drugs in St. Catharines

Street crime detectives from Niagara Regional Police started an investigation in September looking into the distribution of illegal drugs in St. Catharines.
On Thursday, police were granted a search warrant for an RV that they believed was being used to transport and sell illegal drugs.
Detectives recovered 10.5 grams of suspected fentanyl as well as $11,420 of Canadian cash believed to be proceeds of crime.
Four computers were also recovered that were reported stolen from a break and enter earlier this month.
As a result of the investigation two individuals have been arrested.
Ricky Rowley, 38, has been arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Irene Wach, 58, has been arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:
• Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
• Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
• Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Both Rowley and Wach were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in court at the end of December in St. Catharines.
