Hamilton officials accuse the Hamilton Spectator of publishing an article that inflamed anti-black racism

A group of newly-elected officials are accusing the Hamilton Spectator of publishing an article that inflamed anti-black racism in the city.

The spectator denies doing anything wrong, but the group says it will no longer speak on the record with the paper until it takes action to address their concerns.
