Rogue ex-cop gets 6 months in jail

A former Hamilton Police inspector has been found guilty of breach of house arrest.

Rick Wills, who was convicted of stealing almost $60,000 was arrested for violating his sentence of house arrest by playing golf. Conditions of the sentence dictated he can only leave his house to go to and from his new job and attend medical appointments.

Wills was sentenced today to 6 months in jail. His lawyer believes the ten days he’s spent behind bars are enough. Cristina Tenaglia has more:
