Right-winger Javier Milei wins Argentina’s presidential election

Argentina’s newly elected president Javier Milei arrived at the presidential residence earlier on Tuesday to meet the outgoing president.
Milei won at least 55 per cent of the votes – more than 13-million – during a runoff election this weekend. His opponent Sergio Massa only received 44 per cent of the ballots cast.
Milei is being called a far-right libertarian and what many are talking about is how much he has in common with ex-U.S. president Donald Trump… like his pro-gun stance and anti-abortion proposals.
He’s expected to formally take office on December 10th.
