Ride check nets drug bust

A 24 year old Caledonia man faces multiple drug trafficking charges after being stopped at a ride check in Hamilton.

Police say they stopped a car on the Jolley Cut access at Concession Street just after midnight Thursday.

Police say that’s when they found marijuana, cocaine, crystal meth and cash inside the car.

Anthony Reid is being held for bail hearing Friday.

Police are still looking for a 20 year old passenger who fled the scene.
