The Oakville & Milton Humane Society has announced that some of the cats removed from a home in Halton Hills in September are now ready for adoption.
More than 100 cats were removed on September 5th, after officials received a concerned call from a neighbour. The woman who lived in the house reportedly took in strays. Many of the cats were sick and needed immediate veterinary care.
The healthiest of the cats will be available for adoption on November 23rd and 24th, and November 30th and December 1st between 12 noon and 5 pm.
The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, vaccines and micro-chipping.
