Red Cross workers end strike

The Red Cross workers strike that started earlier this month has come to an end today.

Seiu Healthcare, the union that represents personal support workers , Canadian Red Cross, and Red Cross Care partners have agreed to end strike action.

4500 workers across Ontario, including 265 in the Hamilton-Niagara region went on strike December 11th protesting what they call “poverty level wages.”
