Ontario Provincial Police are reminding homeowners to lock their doors and windows after a Port Dover resident woke up to an unknown man on their couch.

Officers say it happened on Sept. 9 around 6:30 a.m. at an address on First Ave.

The homeowner found the man sitting on their couch. He was asked to leave and subsequently left in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about this suspicious incident is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
