Port Colborne man facing impaired driving charges after a multi vehicle crash

Fifty one year-old David Taylor of Port Colborne is facing impaired driving charges and six counts of failing to stop at the scene of a crash, after a multi vehicle crash that was caught on camera.

Security footage shows a pickup truck speeding down King Street in Port Colborne, side swiping a parked car, then slamming into a stopped car, sending it through the front doors of The Bargain Shop.

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries and seven vehicles, as well as the building, were badly damaged.

Witnesses say Taylor started to run away, but was followed and stopped by someone who saw what happened.
