Earlier today, hundreds of people gathered in Mohawk College’s garage to witness a unique feat of engineering that included a Mini Cooper and some popsicle sticks. For civil engineering students and staff at Mohawk College, today was their Super Bowl. Leading up to next week’s 28th annual popsicle bridge building competition, a team of staff and alumni decided to fulfill a dream to suspend a car in mid air using…you guessed it…popsicle sticks.
