Police update on Hamilton double homicide
Hamilton Police service will provide an update at 3 p.m. on the investigation of a shooting at Sam’s Tavern on Barton St. East that left a man and a woman dead and 2 other men in hospital.
Hamilton Police will be providing an update at 3:00 pm at the scene of an earlier shooting at Sam’s Tavern in #HamOnt.

Police say they were called to the area shortly after 5 a.m. All four victims were transported to hospital where two of them succumbed to injuries.
Traffic remains restricted in the area of Sherman and Birch/Chestnut and Barton as police continue to canvas the area for video and witnesses. They are asking people to avoid the area during the investigation.
