Police seize SUV involved in St. Catharines hit-and-run

Niagara police say they have seized the SUV believed to have struck a cyclist Saturday night.

The car is a white 2010 Mercedes GLK-350.

Now, they’re asking anyone who was in the area of Niagara Stone Road and York Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake or Dunkirk Road and Bunting Road in St. Catharines on the night of Nov. 29  between 8:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m., to check their dash cameras or CCTV footage for the suspect vehicle

Detectives are also looking to speak with anyone who may have saw an SUV matching the description who may have been speeding or driving erratically in the area of Niagara Stone Road and York Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake, or Dunkirk Road and Bunting Road in St Catharines.
