OPP charge one in Waterford drug bust

One man is facing multiple charges after police in Waterford, Ont. executed a search warrant at a home on Concession 8 Townsend.

Haldimand-Norfolk OPP say 40-year-old Jason Crombez of Norfolk County faces nearly 13 drug and weapons related charges.

Detectives say they executed the warrant Dec. 2 at about 4:49 a.m.

Police say they immediately took Crombez into custody.

A further search of the home led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, oxycodone, Dilaudid, a weapon, ammunition, Canadian currency, and various drug-related paraphernalia.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on Dec 16.
