Police seek suspect in Milton assault, 1 person in hospital

Halton police are searching for a woman after an assault that sent one person to hospital Thursday afternoon.

Officers say the incident happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. in the area of Syer Dr. in Milton.

A police spokesperson told CHCH News that the victim was taken to hospital with unspecified injuries.

We are investigating an assault that took place today at approx 1:25pm in the area of Syer Drive in Milton.

Suspect believed to be female, wearing bell bottom style pants, black jacket, black balaclava and yellow glasses.

Investigators say the female suspect was last seen wearing bell bottom pants, a black jacket, black ski mask and yellow glasses.

Officers say there is no threat to public safety as the assault is believed to have been targeted.
