Police search for Burlington hit and run suspect

Halton Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a hit and run investigation that has left a motorcyclist seriously injured.

Police say they were following a car last thursday when it hit a motorcyclist, then took off. It happened around 10:30 that night at the intersection of Plains Road and Hillsdale Avenue in Burlington.

Police say the suspect vehicle has been identified as a 2001 to 2003 Grey Nissan Sentra (picture above). It will missing the rear bumper and have damage to the driver’s side tail light assembly. The car was last seen driving east on Plains Road.

The driver of the car is described as a white male in his thirties to forties with brown shoulder-length hair.
