Halton police are continuing their search for 41-year-old James Chadrey (Chad) Hume who is wanted on numerous criminal charges after a shooting investigation in Georgetown.

Police say Hume is known to frequent Halton Hills and is believed to be in the Georgetown area. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Hume is wanted on the charges of:

  • Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
  • Discharge Firearm with Intent
  • Assault with a Weapon
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Major Crime Bureau tip line at 905-825-4777 ext. 4776.

If seen, do not approach Hume.
