A neighbour, who didn’t want to be identified, tells CHCH News that officers warned him and others about a potential threat involving explosives.
“They came around to all the houses, asked us to leave or go down the street or stay in the basement. They were afraid he booby-trapped the house,” he said.
Halton police say the warning was out of an abundance of caution.
They say there is no threat to public safety.
