Police reminding drivers to move over for lights & sirens

It’s a law that’s been around for more than nine years – but somehow, hundreds of Ontario motorists don’t seem to know anything about it.

Ontario’s “move over” law was introduced in 2003 to protect police, and other emergency workers on the shoulders of some of Canada’s busiest highways. The OPP are out in force right now reminding drivers of both the law, and the consequences of ignoring it. Scot Urquhart reports:
