Police presence increased after bomb threats made to nine Halton schools

Halton police say the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board have received an anonymous bomb threat Thursday morning.

Officers posted on X at around 8:20 a.m. that at least nine schools received a bomb threat:

  • Oakville Trafalgar High School;
  • Iroquois Ridge High School;
  • Abby Park High School;
  • White Oaks High School;
  • Garth Webb Secondary School;
  • Appleby College;
  • Holy Trinity High School;
  • Loyola High School and;
  • St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

Police say they have not placed the schools in a hold and secure at this time.
