Police investigating ‘possible shooting’ Friday night in downtown Hamilton

Police say they are investigating a possible shooting that occurred Friday night in downtown Hamilton.

At approximately 11 p.m., officers were called to the area of Oxford Street and York Boulevard for reports of a possible shooting. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and have not provided any more details.

Investigators are asking homeowners and drivers in the area to check their surveillance or dashcam footage between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. for anything suspicious.
