Police investigating after ‘suspicious’ animal remains found in St. Catharines park

Niagara police are investigating after “suspicious” animal remains were found Monday at Arthur Street Park in St. Catharines.

Officers attended the park after receiving reports of animal remains being found.

Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the animal remains are suspicious. They are hoping to speak with anyone who may have visited the park between June 13 and June 15.

Anyone with information related to this investigation is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009756.

Detectives are also asking residents and businesses in the area to review their surveillance footage and contact them if anything suspicious is seen.
