Police investigate fight outside Niagara Falls nightclub

Niagara police are investigating a fight in Niagara Falls on Dec. 18. 

Police say the investigation determined that two groups of men had been inside the Dragonfly Nightclub in the area of Fallsview Boulevard and Murray Street.

When the nightclub closed at around 2:00 a.m. everyone began to exit the club onto the street. Police say a verbal confrontation between the two groups escalated and became physical. 

The fight was broken  up by the nightclub security. 

Police say a man in his 20s related to the incident was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
