Police halt search for second suspect in Hamilton east end shooting

Hamilton police are no longer looking for a second suspect involved in a shooting in the city’s east end.

Police were called to the area of Cochrane and Lawrence roads around 2:30 p.m. on Friday following the incident.

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested one person, and at the time said they were searching for another person.

The investigation remains ongoing.
