Halton police have arrested and charged a 46-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting two young girls in his Oakville home over the past five years.
Officers say the two girls were visiting the man’s home when the alleged sexual assaults took place between 2020 and this year.
Investigators executed a search warrant on Oct. 22 at the home, where they found “numerous items of evidentiary value.”
Calogero “Carlo” Triassi of Oakville was then arrested and charged with three counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, two counts of invitation to sexual touching, making child sexual abuse and exploitation material, and possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.
Triassi was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Investigators are concerned there may be additional victims.
