Halton police have made multiple arrests including those of three youths linked to four stolen cars and at least eight attempted or successful vehicle break-ins that happened in Milton over Oct. 20th and 21st.
During the early hours of Oct. 21, officers were called after an attempted break-in to a car in the area of Ancaster
Police say the suspects triggered a car alarm, prompting a call to police.
Officers stopped one of the stolen cars in the area of Tremaine Road and Gordon Krantz Boulevard using a tire deflation device, then arrested the three occupants of the stolen car.
A 15-year-old boy from Hamilton and a 16-year-old girl from Ancaster have been charged with multiple offences, including, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Flight from Police and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

A third child, aged 11, was also arrested; however, they cannot be charged with a criminal offence due to their age.
Investigators say they anticipate additional charges will be laid.
Both teens were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Three of the four stolen vehicles have since been recovered by investigators and returned to their rightful owners.
Police are reminding members of the public to ensure all cars are locked and car keys are not left unattended.
