PM extends auto industry fund

Prime minister Stephen Harper has renewed the Automotive Innovation Fund.

He was at the Ford plant in Oakville for today’s announcement.

The $250 million pool is accessed by auto plants and suppliers. They are required to invest their own money in projects before getting any of the taxpayers’ cash.
