[projekktor id=’18671′]

It was an historic day at Hamilton’s Dundurn Castle with the 200th anniversary of the Peace Council between British forces and their First Nations allies.

The war ended in december 1814, but it wasn’t until months later the Pledge of the Crown was organized to acknowledge the Native Nations who were British Allies during the war.

Today’s events were emotional, loaded with symbol and ceremony at the very sight of the 1815 Peace Council.
