Pistorius hearing more like trial

Bail hearing told of ”non-stop shouting” coming from Olympian’s home.
The lead investigator in the murder of Reeva Steenkamp has told the bail hearing for Oscar Pistorius, that a witness heard “non-stop shouting” coming from the home of the accused just before she was shot.

He also told the court that police had found two containers of testosterone and needles in Pistorius’ bedroom.

His lawyer said it was not ”testosterone” but rather a legitimate herbal remedy.

In an affidavit delivered Tuesday, Pistorius said he awoke in the middle of the night, thought an intruder had climbed in through his bathroom window and fired into the locked door in a blind panic in the belief the intruder was inside.

Police disputed Pistorius’ affidavit.

The investigator said another witness mentioned hearing a shot followed 17 minutes later by more shots.

The hearing continues Thursday.
