Prime minister Stephen Harper fulfilled a campaign promise today – nearly two years after he was re-elected.

But opposition members and human rights groups say he shouldn’t have bothered. Harper announced the establishment of an office of religious freedom at a mosque in Vaughan this afternoon. And Scot Urquhart tells us it’s getting a cool reception so far.
